Are we Licensed?

Should I tip the movers?

As with any other service provider, you should base your “tip” on job performance. If you think your crew was attentive, helpful and professional, then give what you believe is fair.

Can I change the date of my job?

To change the job date, please contact us immediately letting us know about the date change. If we are unable to accommodate your schedule change, we will need to discuss canceling the job.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellations for any type of reserved service are subject to a cancellation fee which gets charged to the card we take to hold your reservation with. Cancellations for moving labor requests up to 24 hours before your requested start time will only incur the loss of our $40 nonrefundable reservation fee for each day of scheduled service. If you cancel after that, we will charge for 1 hour at the rate you booked and canceling within 2 hours of your requested start time, doubles this fee. Cancellations for Local Full Service requests up to 48 hours before your requested start time will only incur the loss of our $40 nonrefundable reservation fee for each day of scheduled service. If you cancel after that, we will charge for 2 hours at the rate you booked and canceling within 12 hours of your requested start time, doubles this fee for each day of scheduled service. Cancellations for Out of the Area Full Service requests up to 48 hours before your requested start time will only incur a loss of your 10% deposit. If you cancel after that, we will charge out for 20% of the quoted price.

What should I do if there is a storm or we are moving during adverse conditions?

Weather can be unpredictable in the region; roads can become too hazardous for our trucks and crew to navigate. In these circumstances, your move might need to be rescheduled. If our crew is able to come out in the weather, please keep in mind we need your walkways, driveways, and access points clear of snow and ice. Our crews are not there to do the snow and ice removal; they are there do moving services. In the event that we come out and the job is not fully accessible do to the conditions; we will either need to charge out a cancelation fee or charge double time to clear the obstructions along with charging out a fee to chain up our trucks if necessary. Also keep in mind that when moving during these conditions it poses additional issues as floors and furniture may get wet as items are moved. If floor protection is desired to mitigate any potential soiling, additional fees are associated for us to send it out and it must be requested before the move date.

I would definitely hire them again for any moving needs I have and will recommend them to all of my friends who need movers
