Do I have to take the clothes or drawers out of my dressers?
In general we say yes. While the contents may not add a lot of weight, any shifting weight can cause issues or damage while the furniture is being moved.
Are we insured?
Yes. Standard coverage is included in our pricing; this covers articles at a rate of 60 cents per pound. If you are looking for full-value coverage, please contact an insurance agent.
Are we Licensed?
Yes. A certificate of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) is required to legally operate a household goods moving company. Our CPCN is 3372 & our tariff can be viewed at: nta.nv.gov/uploadedFiles/ntanvgov/content/Carriers/Tariffs/H_to_L/High_Altitude_Services_3372-tar-ADA.pdf
Should I tip the movers?
As with any other service provider, you should base your “tip” on job performance. If you think your crew was attentive, helpful and professional, then give what you believe is fair.
Can I change the date of my job?
To change the job date, please contact us immediately letting us know about the date change. If we are unable to accommodate your schedule change, we will need to discuss canceling the job.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations for any type of reserved service are subject to a cancellation fee which gets charged to the card we take to hold your reservation with. Cancellations for moving labor requests up to 24 hours before your requested start time will only incur the loss of our $40 nonrefundable reservation fee for each day of scheduled service. If you cancel after that, we will charge for 1 hour at the rate you booked and canceling within 2 hours of your requested start time, doubles this fee. Cancellations for Local Full Service requests up to 48 hours before your requested start time will only incur the loss of our $40 nonrefundable reservation fee for each day of scheduled service. If you cancel after that, we will charge for 2 hours at the rate you booked and canceling within 12 hours of your requested start time, doubles this fee for each day of scheduled service. Cancellations for Out of the Area Full Service requests up to 48 hours before your requested start time will only incur a loss of your 10% deposit. If you cancel after that, we will charge out for 20% of the quoted price.
